Joe Amor, Vice President & General Manager

Mr. Amor has served as Vice President and General Manager for Microspace since 1995. In the early 90s, he began his career with Microspace as a customer and works today to maintain the high level of service and support that the company has become known for. Mr. Amor has also been a driving force behind Microspace’s innovation and commitment to the industries it services. He is frequently quoted in leading trade publications and speaks regularly at industry events.

Mr. Amor holds a Bachelor of Science/Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri (Kansas City) and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Rockhurst College.

Greg Hurt, Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Mr. Hurt has over 30 years of experience in the satellite broadcasting industry. His responsibilities have included product development, new market analysis and international sales. He has led the sales and marketing efforts at Microspace since 1996.

Mr. Hurt is a member of a host of satellite trade organizations and has spoken at numerous satellite industry events. He is often quoted as an expert in the field of satellite based content delivery.

Mr. Hurt is a graduate of Campbell University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and a minor in Business Administration. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid saltwater fisherman.

Ron Burns, Chief Engineer

Mr. Burns has been an integral part of the Microspace Engineering team for over 20 years.

Prior to joining Microspace in 1988, he was in the U.S. Navy and also worked for General Dynamics Systems as well as Raytheon. He is an authority in the field of video, audio and data encoding as well as RF Design and Engineering.

Ron studied Electrical Engineering at Purdue and North Carolina State. He is committed, along with the entire Microspace Engineering Staff, to keeping our clients on the air each day and every day.

Karen Moss, Accounting Manager

Mrs. Moss joined Capitol Broadcasting in October, 2015 as the accounting manager for Microspace and the radio stations in the Raleigh area owned by CBC. She has over 25 years of financial accounting and analysis experience working primarily in the healthcare and manufacturing industries.

Karen holds a B. S. degree in Social Sciences in Economics with a minor in accounting from Appalachian State University and a degree in accounting from NC State University.
