Welcome to Microspace Communications’ Expert Resource Network — your source for quickly locating the perfect media trained expert for your next critical broadcast message or liveshot!

Our Expert Resource Network is a key aspect of Microspace’s Managed Video Services, and includes hundreds of qualified media trained experts that may be interviewed from a Network member’s studio — most with fiber connections to our Raleigh, NC teleport. We’ve invested over two decades in building relationships with partners and affiliates across the state to develop a network of interconnected venues and specialized experts, to help connect clients with media-savvy subject matter experts.

Please use the menu on the right-hand side of the page to browse our list of Network members and find experts within your desired area of expertise.

Expert Resource Network

How It Works

1. Browse Network Members

For your convenience, you can link directly to each member university’s expert list by clicking on the link within their listing (to the right).

2. Contact Qualified Media Trained Experts

Next, follow the booking procedure noted for each campus. Most universities require that media make initial contact with the university news offices.

3. Set Up the Interview With Microspace

Once you have made necessary arrangements with the expert appropriate for your interview, please call us at 919-850-4559 to provide the information of your liveshot, including any details on transmission method.

HD or SD content delivery options include LTN (IP), The Switch, and Level 3/Vyvx for broadcast quality fiber or C or Ku band satellite. In the event a university studio is unavailable, our teleport offers a liveshot studio which is in close proximity to several universities.

Among those participating are Duke University, Duke Medical Center, Elon University, North Carolina A&T, UNC-Chapel Hill, East Carolina University and The Brody School of Medicine, North Carolina State University, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, and UNC-Greensboro.
