Microspace co-sponsored a Channel Networking Event Wednesday evening, August 3, 2022, with some of the CBC satellite division’s local business partners. The MCC team began coordinating the event over at Lynwood Brewing Concern starting this year, resulting from a strong partnership MCC Account Manager Jessica Jobes has developed with David Herring at AppSmart.
“These events are a great informal way to connect with partners and clients, and a no pressure way to get face time and brainstorm with people at the companies that we already collaborate with – or those who we would like to partner with,” explained Jobes.
The MCC team gave the event and the idea for it a big thumbs up.
“The event was great, and I was surprised to see how many of our partners were able to make it out in person,” said MCC Director of Business Development Christian Adams. “I tip my hat to Jessica for her work in setting up this event and working the room to make sure everyone was having a good time and being engaged. I am excited to see what Jessica has in store for her channel partner relationships down the line.”
Before this August gathering, they held the first networking event in early April and plan another for the fall when the temps are cooler.
“I brought one of our CellCast Cradlepoint devices, and I did demos with the team at Ericsson; and I will demo our new 5G CellCast device at the fall event,” said Jobes.
The networking efforts are already showing results.
“Thanks to a connection I made at the event we held in April, Microspace has been working towards the development of a new product we plan to sell with our CellCast managed service,” said Jobes.
The Microspace team is hopeful for the great things to come.
“I really enjoyed the networking event,” said MCC Vice President & General Manager Cyrus Wilson. “It was a great opportunity to meet some of our customers and partners while also establishing new relationships. These events also present the chance to highlight our capabilities and showcase some of our product offerings. Our business development team did an amazing job, and I’m looking forward to us having more of these networking events in the future!”
